By late January 2008, the restaurant will be fully renovated to treat you to a night out on the town. No more worrying about driving long distances to get to your favorite hangout for drinks and dinner because Hunan Gourmet will be offering the Metropolitan NY experience right in your own backyard (or close to it).

As you walk in, you will be encountered by a full bar accompanied by a lounge area fit for a casual drink with friends and family.

That's not the only bar in the restaurant. As you make your way into the main dining area, you will have the opportunity to sit at the sushi bar for a one-on-one, counter service sushi session with the sushi chef (try saying that 3 times really fast).

As you sit at the sushi bar, you'll notice that the main dining area around you is now adorned by pendulum lighting accented by a hard redwood floor providing you with a quiet and unique dining experience.

Ok, maybe it won't be completely quiet because to the rear of the restaurant will be the Teppanyaki tables (aka Hibachi). The Teppanyaki portion of the restaurant will seat up to 60 people. For the full iron griddle experience, there will be groups of 6 to 20 people per table.
